Registration closes at 6:00pm, Monday, September 28.  Doors open at 11:15am.

With five of nine Supreme Court positions on the November ballot, the majority of our State Supreme Court will be elected this fall. To help us make an informed vote, the Bellingham City Club and Whatcom Bar Association are presenting a candidate forum on October 2, 2026 at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club.

At this live forum, candidates will make their case as to why you should vote for them and answer questions developed by Bellingham City Club and Whatcom Bar Association members. The forum is designed to illuminate how each candidate will approach serving as a Supreme Court Justice.

Another learning opportunity--On Saturday, Sept. 19, at 10:00am, the League of Women Voters of Bellingham/Whatcom County will present a panel of three distinguished women judges describing what they do and what qualities a person needs to be an effective judge. At the Whatcom Community College Syre Auditorium; no fee.
